don't think there were any hard and fast rules, most were built to eye and to order adn every yard did them slightly differently. At some point I'm going to scan in Edgar J March's thoughts and drawings on the subject and upload them</description>

			<description>We reckon she is a Baldie, in other words a cross between a Fifie and a Zulu. Combining the attributes of both designs.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The angle of stern rake is not enough for a full Zulu. Locally (Old Torry, Aberdeen) we called them a quarter or half Zulu depending on the rake angle.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Our group are in the process of rebuilding a 26ft one at the moment back to full sailing spec. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The resemblance in the link pic below is quite noticable.&lt;br /&gt;
